Hi everyone! My name is Lazar. I am a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Toronto / Vector Institute in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. My research focus is in understanding and decoding the causal dynamics of cells. In particular, I am interested in developing novel machine learning methods for uncovering gene regulatory networks and predicting cellular perturbational response under the lens of cell dynamics. I spend most of my time working with GFlowNets and dynamic models (differential equations and flow matching). Excited to engage with this community 😀!
