Bio

Bundit Boonyarit is currently a Ph.D. student in Information Science and Technology at the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Prince of Songkla University and an M.S. in Biochemistry from Kasetsart University.

His research bridges the disciplines of Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Computer Science. He employs machine learning methodologies along with computational biology and chemistry techniques to unravel complex molecular structures and functions. Moreover, he is passionately involved in innovating and refining cutting-edge deep learning models and algorithms to enhance the accuracy and efficacy of molecular property predictions. These research highlights contribute to the dynamic landscapes of computational science, offering advancements across both life sciences and chemical sciences.

The current research themes, collectively termed “CompBio3D - Computational Biomolecular Discovery, Design, and Development”, encompass the following areas:

1. Molecular Property & Interaction – focuses on elucidating the relationship of biomolecular structure, leading to molecular properties and interactions predictions.
2. Molecular Design & Discovery – focuses on the structural analysis of biomolecules to facilitate the discovery, design, and understanding of molecular phenomena.
3. Molecular Representation & Learning – focuses on the design and development of model architectures and feature engineering strategies, enhancing the predictive performance of machine learning and deep learning models in biomolecular science.
