Trogocytosis targeting chimeras (TrogoTACs) for targeted protein transfer

This is a cool story of taking a weird (and niche?) cellular phenomenon and asking whether you can take advantage of it for therapeutic uses.

Some pathologies arise because there are missing membrane proteins on a cell's surface. "Trogocytosis" is when one cell "nibbles" another, and can be found especially in immune cells. These authors wondered whether they could take advantage of the phenomenon, and designed molecules capable of inducing protein transfer between cells.
